How the Matching Works

You tell us what is going on. Is the door stuck, noisy, off its track, or just old? We pass your request to a local provider in our network. The provider contacts you, asks a few questions and can give you a written quote.

You can ask for more than one quote. Compare written quotes line by line. Look at parts, labor, warranty terms and timing.

What to Have Ready

A few details help a provider give you a closer quote. Before you send a request, try to note:

• What the door does now, such as shaking, scraping, or stopping halfway.
• Any loud bang you heard, which can point to a broken spring.
• The rough age and size of the door.
• Whether it is a single or double door, and whether it has an opener.

Please do not try to adjust springs or cables yourself. They hold a lot of tension and can cause serious injury. Leave that part to a trained provider.
